Writer, Editor, Consultant

I have been a professional writer for most of my life. I've been a B2B magazine writer, a social columnist, an advertising writer, a tech writer, a ghostwriter, a Spin Doctor, a Script Doctor. I've written short stories, criticism, speeches, screenplays, and hundreds of websites. At one point, I was the western editor of a dozen magazines; at another, I was writing and producing up to 20 videos a week. I was the first Canadian newspaper columnist to take her own photographs, and I was the founding publisher and editor of a highly successful national business magazine.

I began my career early—I organized my first large-scale event at age 15. I spent the earliest years of my career in fashion, hotel management and advertising and I could never peel myself away from the hospitality and marketing worlds. I’ve written promotional material for a myriad of products and companies of all types. I’ve raised heaps of money in the non-profit sector, and worked for innumerable ad agencies and design firms. I managed the Canadian operation of an international luxury jewellery brand, and I handled the openings of some of Vancouver’s most successful restaurants, creating lavish parties, award-winning press kits and identity packages.

As you will gather, I'm still loading in my portfolio. It goes waaay back, so please bear with the old stuff. It may seem dated, but it’s interesting to see how things have changed.

I am always available to cover assignments, or handle pretty much any project you have, whether it be an autobiography, a website or a PR campaign. Just get in touch..
